My Day In Logos

Understatement of the year: Logos are everywhere. From the moment we wake up, to the second we go to sleep, the products and services we use on a daily basis are identified with a signifying mark, telling us what brand we are interacting with. While they by no means tell us everything we need to know about a brand and its central message, they do become the way we recognize the brands we want and like. In fact, some of us even make choices about what product we like based on logo alone. For business owners, they are immensely important because it is your "first impression" and a way to build brand recognition and trust with the market which is why when starting a new business venture, focusing first on putting your best foot forward with a professional logo is a crucial and sometimes over looked step.

Love them or hate them, they are a part of how we communicate and relate as creators and consumers

Inspired by a chapter in David Airey's book "Logo Design Love" and to highlight how prevalent logos are in our lives, I present to you "My Day In Logos." A small snippet of products and services I interacted with during just one day ( not to mention all the others that flew by be without me knowing.) Enjoy, and take notice during your day to see how many logos you are effected by without even noticing most of the time.
